ACAS, the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service, aims to improve organisations and working life through better employment relations. ACAS has 30 years experience of working with people in businesses of every size and sector and is publicly-funded to ensure independence, impartiality and confidentiality. ACAS is governed by a Council made up of people from business, unions, independent sectors and academe. The ACAS website provides a one-stop shop for information on anything related to employment. An incredibly comprehensive service, which covers a whole range of free publications, sample forms, short courses, a help line etc, all in straightforward and easily accessible formats.
