CONSORTIA

Consortia may provide a targeted, cost effective way of promoting you business. Generally it is more effective to work together as a consortia than putting all your marketing and promotional efforts into an individual campaign.

REGIONAL
In Wales there are a number of specific regional consortia usually linked to either the Regional Tourism Partnerships (RTP) or Regional Tourism Companies (RTC). Some are developed through the initiative of the operators themselves. An example of this is a consortium of accommodation operators based in the Vale of Glamorgan. SECTOR SPECIFIC
There are in Wales a number of farm/rural tourism consortia contact your RTP or RTC for further information and contact point.

UK/INTERNATIONAL
The following are a list of the major hotel consortia, which operate in the UK. In all cases it is best to contact them directly to discuss benefits of membership and costs.

Hotels seeking membership with The Leading Hotels of the World or The Leading Small Hotels of the World must apply for admission:www.lhw.com.
as the organization does not solicit new members. All Leading Hotels must operate in a manner consistent with the standards that are generally understood and accepted within the industry as "five-star" or "superior deluxe".

Les Routiers
